The villa opens to a covered patio with sitting and dining areas, with a pool and the beach just beyond. Get your fill of the sun on the poolside lounge chairs, the hammock stretched under a pergola, or on the rooftop terrace, and try out local fare on the barbecue. A TV, sound system and Wi-Fi provide entertainment, and air conditioning, ceiling fans and an elevator keep the villa comfortable and accessible.

Clean lines, neutral tones and hits of pattern make the interiors of Casa Fortuna luxe and contemporary yet inviting. The bright, modern living room can seat everyone on its two sectionals and ottomans, while pineapple accent lamps are a subtly welcoming touch. In the adjacent dining area, striped upholstery and a carved mirror feel cool and breezy, and in the fully equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar is perfectly convenient.

Each of the villa’s six bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and TV; the bedroom on the ground floor has access to the terrace, while the other five bedrooms have access to balconies. On the ground floor, the bedroom has a king bed and is wheelchair-accessible. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with king beds and one bedroom with two queen beds. The villa’s third floor has two bedrooms with king beds.

The beach is nearly at your doorstep at Casa Fortuna, but you can also easily visit Akumal Beach, just under 2 miles away, and Soliman Bay, 10.5 miles away, during your stay. From the villa, it’s a 1-mile drive to Akumal, an 18-mile drive to Tulum, a 25-mile drive to Playa del Carmen and a 58-mile drive to Cancun International Airport.
